Pokémon Sword/Shield's first Gigantamax event is live
Gigantamax Butterfree is now ripe for the taking for Pokémon Sword/Shield players around the globe.
The larger than life Gigantamax versions of various Pokémon in Pokémon Sword/Shield will, from now on, be more likely to appear for players trying the Max Raid Battles during the game's Gigantamax events. The first event has Gigantamax Butterfree in its spotlight and the rare Pokémon will be less rare until early January of 2020. Gigantamax Drednaw will also be less rare for Sword players while Shield players will have less of a hard time spotting a Gigantamax Corviknight.
