Sony has taken to their PlayStation Blog to confirm the entertainment apps that'll be available in Europe come the launch of PlayStation 4 at the end of this week.

According to the accompanying text, in the wake of the release of the following apps, a further 20+ apps are due to arrive between now and Spring 2014 (including TuneIn, Game One, Filmo TV and MUBI).

Notably, BBC iPlayer (and BBC Sports/News) will be available on PS4, but the same app is still not available on Xbox One, despite the head-start enjoyed by Microsoft's new console.
