Players find themselves inside of Vault 63 in Fallout 76 bug

Those experiencing the wasteland of West Virginia may end up underground in one of the vaults as the result of a bug.

Fallout 76 players are being teleported down into Vault 63, according to a number of reports online, the most comprehensive of which comes from Reddit user McStaken, who even provided images to prove that they were down there.

Bethesda has sent the banhammer crashing down on players getting into areas they weren't supposed to in the past - including a developer room containing all the items in the game - and this is the reason why some fans are reluctant to investigate or even try to make their way inside.

"Glad to hear you got in and out of the Vault in one piece," a Bethesda spokesperson wrote in a comment. "These Vaults are still under construction, but we look forward to sharing more on how they will become part of the game. In the meantime, we also appreciate when players like yourself let us know about stuff like this. We have shared with the team and will let you know if we have any follow up questions. Thank you!"

Indeed vaults are part of the ongoing plans for 2019 that Bethesda has already outlined, including the upcoming Survival Mode and PvE content to spice things up a bit. As for what Vault 63 contains though, that's a mystery that we'll have to save for another time.

What could be inside?

REVIEW. Written by Kieran Harris

"The concept of a fully online Fallout title seemed so very sweet in theory but Bethesda has made more than a few stumbles along the way."
