The pre-E3 leaks continue as a new Transformers game, subtitled Devastation and developed by Bayonetta studio Platinum Games, has been leaked.

It's not just a name and developer confirmation: a multitude of screens splurged online as well as details via a retailer listing that was swiftly pulled.

The game's based on the classic 80s animation (or the classier Generation 1, as it's now known to differentiate it from other shows in the multi-series franchise), and unsurprisingly looks set to focus on the fast-paced third-person combat Platinum's been known for with the likes of Metal Gear Rising and Vanquish. According to the retailer listing, expect "instant robot to vehicle attacks, slam downs, counterattacks, and infinite combos for a unique master combat system. Five difficulty levels also deliver hours of intense gameplay".

The game's boasting a cel-shaded style to keep the look authentic to the TV show, and will also have voice work by some of the original cast, including - most importantly - Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Frank Welker as Megatron.

The game's pegged for release on October 6th, though that's Canadian listing, and despite the leak coming via an Xbox site, the game will be multiformat, though by that we mean PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Expect more news in the next 48 hours as the conferences kick off.
