Platinum Games reveals stylish Astral Chain

The folks over at Platinum Games is known for stylistic action games and developing a whole bunch of games at the same time. Both of these were proven true during Nintendo's recent Direct.

Platinum Games announced that Takahisa Taura, the senior game designer on Nier: Automata, and Hideki Kamiya, the creator of both Bayonetta and Devil May Cry, has teamed up to make a Switch exclusive called Astral Chain. Kamiya-san is just supervising the project, so don't worry about Bayonetta 3. Still, you know what you get from these two: intense stylistic combat against weird creatures. The accompanying trailer shows the multitude of ways your character's weapon can be used. Summoning holographic-looking mechs or transforming into a whip or bow sound interesting?
