PopCap and Sony have just announced that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is heading to PlayStation platforms, as well as confirming that the game will run on PS4 at 1080p and 60fps (in case you hadn't guessed, that's better than on Xbox One).

The game, complete with two different expansion packs (Garden Variety and Zomboss Down), will be landing on both PS3 and PS4 on August 21/22. The PS4 version will also be playable via remote play on PS Vita, the Boss Mode will be playable on mobile devices via the PlayStation App, and there'll be split screen co-op.

REVIEW. Written by Gillen McAllister

"It's a much better game than you'd think. But we can't help but feel this would have made a better case as a Xbox Live Arcade title rather than a (nearly) full-priced retail release."
