Pinball Arcade loses Williams and Bally tables
But if you already own them or pick them up before June 30 you'll get to keep them.
There is some bad news coming from FarSight Studios. Pinball Arcade will no longer offer tables based on Williams and Bally designs, due to the end of the license agreement. After June 30, content with trademarks from these manufacturers will be removed from the online stores because "the company that controls the WMS IP chose not to renew our agreement", said the studio on the game's Faceboook page.
Asked if those tables will be on sale before exiting the game, FarSight Studios replied: "We can't, our agreement with WMS prohibits there being any sales on their tables before we have to take them off the market". Of course, if you already own the tables you'll get to keep them, and the same is true if you pick them up before June 30.
FarSight recently announced that Season 8 of Pinball Arcade will come out later this summer with new tables, including ones created by Stern.
