Feargus Urquhart from Obsidian and Fredrik Wester from Paradox Interactive both came on stage during the PC Gaming Conference at E3 to announce The White March, the upcoming expansion for Pillars of Eternity. During the discussion that happened following the announcement the pair discussed their thoughts on Kickstarter (which funded the development of Pillars in the first place).

"The White March: Part 1," will flesh out the story, up the level cap, add new companions, and it's heading to PC, Mac and Linux "soon".

"Fans' response to Pillars of Eternity has been incredible," said Feargus Urquhart, CEO of Obsidian Entertainment. "We knew, when we started work on the game following our crowdfunding campaign, that we had the potential to create the kind of game we'd wanted to see again for a long time. Evidently, we weren't alone in that. With The White March, we're going to ensure that we live up to the praise we've received and the faith our fans have placed in us."

Pillars of Eternity

REVIEW. Written by José Manuel Bringas

"Obsidian's invented a time machine. We're back to the brilliance of the 90s RPG, with pre-rendered environments, isometric viewpoints and intricate stories with tons of text."
