Bethesda's Pete Hines is always a flowing source of information when it comes to the company's many games, and now in a recent interview with Metro he's shared good news for Wolfenstein fans, as the positive responses to the first two means we'll be seeing a third.
When asked to confirm if there's a third one coming to wrap up the story, he said: "Yeah, sure. Absolutely we're making a Wolfenstein III. They said on stage that they're taking a break from the larger story to do this thing. But we all have to see how that ends."
"At the end of the day Wolfenstein did well for us, because we're about to do two more Wolfenstein games."
So this sounds more of an intention to do Wolfenstein III than an announcement that they're actually working on the sequel, but it's always good to hear that Bethesda and Machine Games' franchise isn't going anywhere any time soon. Of course we also have co-op title Young Blood in the pipeline before then too, announced at E3 this year and following BJ Blazkowicz's daughters.
Is Wolfenstein one of your favourite series right now?
