Konami were pretty supportive of Nintendo with Pro Evolution Soccer back on the Wii, going as far as developing a custom made control system based on the IR aiming capability of the Wiimote. With this in mind, and Nintendo's mysterious new console the NX launching on March 2017, we asked brand manager Adam Bhatti whether fans could expect PES to get back to Nintendo consoles soon. Here's what he told us when talking about PES 2017 at E3:

"I think you can expect Konami to take interest in all new consoles, all new hardware. It's not just about the new Nintendo, but also we've had quite a few announcements even this show of some new hardware, and we're really interested. Same with VR as well. We would never count anything out. And certainly I think I'd love to follow our fans. If our fans buy new consoles, buy the new Nintendo console, then please let us know because we do want to provide for those guys."

When asked about the imminent Xbox One S potential new features, however, the PES man says they're "not talking about" that yet, as they're still learning and improving graphics for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 by getting the most out of Fox Engine.
