Back in April we reported that Atlus' RPG Persona 5 had shipped 1.5 million units worldwide, and we now know via Sega's Toshihiro Nagoshi's Sega Raw livestream that this figure has climbed to the 1.8 million mark.
It's important to note that the Korean version of the game launched on June 8, which may well have helped this boost in sales figure, although perhaps this increase in figures is simply due to the great reception the game has received across the board (including from us).
Whatever the reason, it's good to see that more people are taking the plunge into the game. Will you be playing it yourself, if you have yet to do so?
Thanks, Persona Central.
