Last week, when it emerged that the PC version of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 didn't launch with local co-op despite saying it would beforehand, there was some discontent among fans.

Since then Capcom has confirmed that an online mode will be added post-launch, but if that's not enough for you then never fear, as one modder has gone and beaten the publisher to the punch and has made a mod facilitating local play.

Modder FluffyQuack has released the mod for the game here, and while it only supports gamepads and not the Raid mode, at least it's something.

Meanwhile, are Capcom planning on releasing a local co-op patch in the near future?

"We are currently looking into the matter and potential solutions and we hope to have new information to share very soon, so please stay tuned," the company said on Steam.

Or, if you'd prefer, you can get a refund.
