Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
Patrice Desilets to present his new game at The Game Awards
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is next from the Assassin's Creed creator.

Patrice Desilets, creator of the Assassin's Creed universe, has been working together with his team at Panache Digital Games on Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey since 2014. The game will take place from prehistoric times and move forward with each episode - yes, the studio's debut title is an episodic adventure game. We will experience, among other things, the creation of the first tools, the fall of the Roman Empire or the Wright brothers' first flight from a third person perspective.
As in the Assassin's Creed series, there's a certain amount of artistic license and interpretation involved when it comes to the story. During The Game Awards, a fragment of the game will be presented, and after the event the GameSpot livestream will debut a full-fledged, extended gameplay clip, as Panache confirmed on Twitter.
