Norwegian developer/publisher Funcom has seen a bit of a resurgence in fortunes as of late with the survival game Conan Exiles doing well in Early Access (full release planned for May 8). Now they've launched a countdown site for a new game. The image shows some kind of combined bar, kebab and falafel joint sort of thing with Swedish writing. Given Funcom recently secured an investment from Cabinet Group (owners of the Conan IP among plenty of pen and paper rights), setting up the joint venture Heroic Signatures. One of these rights is Mutant Chronicles: Year Zero, and "Countdown2Zero", the mention of "the zone", and the postapocalyptic Scandinavian setting would suggest that Funcom is teasing a game set in the new Mutant Chronicles universe. We'll know more in just under 5 days time.
Update: Given that the link has been shared by "Free League" it is fairly safe to assume it is to do with Mutant Chronicles. Furthermore, Swedish developer The Bearded Ladies have shared the link on Facebook indicating that the game is in development at the studio best known for Landit Bandit.
