You need to pay for second character in Metal Gear Survive

Or you will have to delete your main.

Metal Gear Survive is out now, a game that unlike previous games in the series, lets you create your own character, instead of putting you on the role of 'a' Snake or Raiden. Your character will be used in both campaign and online modes, but that's all you're getting in the base game. If you decide you want to create a second character, you will need to pay up 1,000 Survival Coins, the in-game currency which equates to around €10 / $10 / £8. Your other option would be deleting your main character and creating a new one, of course.

This will be particularly annoying for people that share accounts, with a child or sibling for instance, since that second account would also need to pay to create a character.

It should be noted that Metal Gear Survive costs €40 / £35, cheaper than most AAA games, and that's why Konami might think they are justified in charging for character slots. Still, the Metal Gear community at Resetera is naturally upset about the whole situation.

Thanks, US Gamer.
