We learned of the next big licensed game based on Tolkien's work Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor from Monolith Productions.
In next-gen news we learned that Xbox One won't play 3D Blu-Rays, that you will be able to buy digital PS4 titles on Amazon, and GRTV unboxed a European PlayStation 4. Sony also confirmed a couple more titles that will be part of PS4's instant game collection with PS Plus. Perhaps most notably Sony reaffirmed their position on used games after yesterday's scare.
Purist screamed out in terror at the news that Metal Gear Solid V might break canon, and roguelike space enthusiasts rejoiced as Subset Games announced additional content for FTL and an iPad version. A maplist with names of previously not mentioned maps for Call of Duty: Ghosts caused a bit of a stir and there was no great surprise as Blizzard confirmed a sixth expansion for World of Warcraft beyond Warlords of Draenor.
