Disney releases first Star Wars game

Tiny Death Star launches on mobile platforms.

Disney has released their first Star Wars-based video game since buying up LucasArts, and it's a fusion of Tiny Tower and the iconic Imperial space station from the movies, the Death Star.

Tiny Death Star has been crafted by NimbleBit, the makers of Tiny Tower. The game features the management elements of the studio's other game, but is set against the backdrop of the Death Star.

Players will join characters Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader as they build up the Death Star, attracting over 30 familiar species as the game progresses. You'll be aiding the Empire's domination of the galaxy, and capturing those pesky rebels when they try and break in.

The game is free-to-play and is out now on iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
