Activision has just announced that Rovio's Angry Birds Star Wars has just launched on an array of different console platforms. The game is now available on Wii, Wii U, 3DS, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita from today, and the next-gen versions of the game are set to launch on November 22.

The newly released versions utilise the features of the respective consoles they'll be appearing on. There'll be high-definition visuals (where possible), voice support on Xbox 360 (via Kinect) and touch-screen controls on Wii U, 3DS and PS Vita. The PS4 version will take advantage of the DualShock 4‘s touchpad, and will support PS Move. The Xbox One version will boast gesture and motion controls, as well as voice support through the new Kinect. The Xbox One gamers will also get "unique, timed challenges that deliver fresh trials for players well after the game's launch".
