Nether to arrive on Early Access

First person survival game coming tomorrow on Steam.

Nether, a first-person survival title by Phosphor Games, is about to land on Steam Early Access (and early birds can pick it up at a discounted price in the Steam Halloween Sale).

"Since we started working on the rich, urban environment of Nether we've wanted to get players involved in shaping the game and its future content," said the game's creative director, Chip Sineni.

"Now that players can experience the exhilarating gameplay themselves, we are really excited to see how player feedback shapes Nether in the coming months and years," he added.

The game will feature up to 64 players per server, and a "vast and vertical" urban environment for gamers to play around in (maybe "playing around" isn't the best way to describe it). Like DayZ it promises a mixture of PvE and PvP combat, and plenty of scavenging for precious resources. Check out the screens below.
