During EA's latest financial call last night (via seekingalpha.com and Videogamer) doubt was cast over the potential release of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
The game, which has already been delayed after initially being due to launch this year, is expected to hit current and next-gen consoles late next year. However, comments made by EA CFO Blake Jorgenson during the company's financial call last night, made it clear that while a release next year is "most likely", it's still not set in stone.
"We were highly conscious of the fact that, if Battlefield is as successful as we believe it'll be, that that sets ourselves up for a challenge next year. But remember, we're introducing NBA this year. We're introducing UFC next year. We have Sims next year, we would most likely, possibly have Dragon Age next year."
It would be quite a surprise if the launch of Dragon Age: Inquisition was allowed to slip even further, but stranger things have happened in the world of video game development.
