Naruto Saga enters beta
Naruto Saga, a new MMORPG set in the popular Naruto anime universe, has just opened its doors and is now in open beta. Players can find out more details or sign up here.
The MMO combines one-on-one battle systems with QTEs, quests based on Naruto plots, Beast Summoning, Arena PK, and Ninja Transformation features. Players will be able to pick a main ninja character, changing class after the first main quest (Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu are the three classes that are available). Ninjutsu characters, such as Uzumaki Naruto, Gaara, and Jiraiya, are the heavy hitters of Naruto Saga, proficient enough with Critical damage to deal massive hits to their enemies. When triggered, Ninjutsu ninjas can deal extra damage to all enemies, and their adept use of Strike Talent can restrict a Taijutsu ninja's blocking ability.
Taijutsu ninjas, such as Rock Lee, Gai, and Tsunade, are known for their incredible defense capabilities. By using Block at the right moment, Taijutsu ninjas can greatly reduce the damage they take. Taijutsu characters are cunning enough to outsmart the Genjutsu Ninja's dodge ability.
Genjutsu practitioners, such as Uchiha Sasuke, Kakashi, and Orochimaru, have the ability to move faster than the eye can see. When using Dodge, Genjutsu ninjas can avoid any and all damage coming their way, while their proficiency with Tenacity Talent means they can stand toe-to-toe with the most powerful Ninjutsu ninjas around.
On their epic journey, players will meet and team up with some of the most famous ninjas in the anime world, including Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura, and even the powerful Naruto himself. Players can also form teams with each other as they explore everything the mystical ninja world has to offer, and make use of deep social features and forums to share the secrets they find - or keep them to themselves.
