Last night a bunch of rumours surfaced on NeoGAF claiming that the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Ghosts would run at 720p - unlike the PS4 version that will run at 1080p. While rumours like these should always be taken with healthy grain of salt it should be noted that several reliable NeoGAF posters have weighed in and confirmed it.
When Microsoft recently revealed that Ryse: Son of Rome would run at the odd resolution 900p and scaled up via the hardware it caused a big reaction, and naturally if a game like Call of Duty: Ghosts can't handle more than 720p on Xbox One it's cause for concern. For now it's a rumour, let's see if there's any official word soon.
