The Week Ahead

With Christmas looming, this week is going to be a quiet one for games releases. Now that all the big guns have exhausted their Triple-A titles the field has been left open for some of the smaller titles to have a go at your wallets.

The PC seems to be the most fertile ground for game releases this week with Darkstar, Off-Road Drive, Trine 2 and Hidden Mysteries Forbidden City all seeing the light of day for the first time. There is also a Game of the Year edition of Sid Meier's Civilization V - an essential purchase for fans of the popular strategy series.

Battlefield 3 expansion Back to Karkand is out available tomorrow.

Order Up!! is out on the 3DS and Just Dance 3 is arriving on the PS3.
