Multiplay has today announced details regarding Insomnia50, the latest weekend-long event, where up to 25,000 gamers are expected to attend.

The event is set to take place at the Telford International Centre from November 29 to December 2. There'll be live bands, a comedian, an indie showcase and the Xbox Tournament Zone.

eSports will be played at what's being described as their 50th LANniversary. Players will be able to get to grips with League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Dota 2, Starcraft II and Halo 4.

"It's been a milestone we've been anticipating, and with the fantastic turnout from Insomnia fans at Insomnia49, we are incredibly pleased to produce the best gaming festival in the UK even better", said Craig Fletcher, Multiplay CEO. "As a team, we couldn't be happier with the success of Insomnia, driven by its passionate community, and we can't wait to deliver something truly memorable for our fans as we celebrate our 50th LANniversary."
