Namco Tale Studios is to be absorbed into parent company Namco Bandai according to reports.
Japanese game database Andriasang has reported that following board approval next week, the developers will cease to exist in their current form from January first next year.
Considering that the Tales series of RPGs have sold in excess of 10 million copies since 2007 and there are currently games in development, it's highly unlikely that Namco Bandai will be abandoning the franchise, so fans of the series needn't worry too much.
