Call of Duty retains top spot

Modern Warfare fights off competition.

Activision's flag ship title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has this week fought off fresh advances from heavy-hitters Assassins Creed, Halo and Zelda, as well resisting sustained pressure from Skyrim.

Assassins Creed: Revelations has come in at second place, sneaking past Skyrim and Saints Row: The Third. FIFA's continued strong sales keeps it in the last of the top-five places.
