Major titles hit the shelves
It's been a busy week for retailers, culminating with a busy day today with the release of several major titles.
It's going to be a particularly busy day for Mario. The mustachioed icon is the star attraction in two titles due for release today. He'll be gracing our screens in the 3DS title Super Mario 3D Land. He's also sharing centre stage with Sonic in Mario and Sonic at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Other games hitting the shelves today are Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, uDraw Instant Artist, Need for Speed: The Run, Saints Row: The Third, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and last but definitely not least there is the hugely anticipated Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Phew.
That's not forgetting the release of Assassin's Creed: Revelations on Tuesday. It's been a good week for gamers.
If none of those tickle your fancy then you've probably already done your game shopping for the year and are currently feasting on FIFA or MW3.
Whilst nobody is expecting Call of Duty's numbers for any of these titles, there are enough quality games coming out today that someones wallet is going to get severely dented.
