Despite dropping 24% of sales from last year's record breaking opening week FIFA 14 still managed to dethrone the new record holder Grand Theft Auto V from first place in this week's chart. In fact, despite dropping a whopping 83% of its first week sales, GTA V still recorded a number that would have amounted to the 18th best opening week of all-time (pretty spectacular when you think about it). Obviously FIFA 14's numbers likely suffered a bit from GTA V, but it could also be that some gamers are holding out for the next-gen iterations of FIFA 14 that are due at the PS4 and Xbox One launches. Elsewhere in the charts Rayman Legends surges to tenth on the back of some price promotions and Rockstar also sees nice back catalogue sales, no doubt helped by the attention GTA V has been getting.
