The closed beta for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was originally meant to kick off in October, something that obviously did not happen. The beta has been delayed after Valve received some feedback from professional players that have gotten their hands on an early version. This was confirmed by Valve's Chet Faliszek in an interview with ESEA News.
While there is no new date for the beta, he said there were a few issues that needed addressing before it would go up. From the start the beta will be available for 10,000 players.
