The departure of Bioware founders Greg Zeschuck and Ray Muzyka left the Bioware group at EA without it's natural leadership. The group that encompasses the original Bioware team in Edmonton as well as outfits in Montreal, Austin, and California, is currently involved with multiple project and the role of group leader has befallen Matthew Bromberg who held the position as general manager at Bioware Austin (Star Wars: The Old Republic).
Whether the changes up top have any longterm effects on Bioware is difficult to say at this point, but from what we've seen of Dragon Age: Inquisition they're still quite capable...
