Despite multiple rumours leading up to Apple's big event last night, there was no iPhone 5 unveiled at the event. Instead, Apple will release an improved version of iPhone 4 called iPhone 4S, complete with a more powerful processor, better camera and Siri voice control.

Apple also revealed that IOS 5 will release on October 12, and will be available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad, iPad 2, and the fourth generation of iPod Touch.

A nice addition for gamers is the new and improved version of Game Center that will allow users to share pictures and other content.

Infinity Blade 2 was also announced at the event, and will see release on December 1 - with enhanced graphics on iPhone 4S.
