Cloud Imperium Games and Chris Roberts continue to amass tremendous amounts of crowdfunding for Star Citizen with the sum now exceeding $17 million. Dedicated fans and clever use of stretch goals are two of the reasons for the success and it's going to be interesting to see just how the game ends up.
