Recently Kotaku reported that November 8 would be the date Xbox One would launch. Their source was simply described as someone at a marketing company, but apparently they now have a better source "close to Microsoft" who claims November 8 is not the date and that we should expect the console to launch later in the month. That means, November 9 and onwards. PS4 launches in North America on November 15 and it is widely assumed Microsoft wants to be on the market at that time in order to hit the all important Black Friday date.
