Sony announced that Playstation 4 is set to launch on November 29 (or November 15 if you live in North America) at Gamescom last week, but so far there's been no word from Microsoft on when they're planning on launching Xbox One, beyond the November release window mentioned by the company.
A recent leaked email, sent to an employee of a company contracted by American retailer Walmart, has landed on the internet (it was received by Kotaku), and it suggests that Xbox One might well launch before the PS4, with a potential November 8 release date mentioned.
Unlike all the other release dates contained in the email, Xbox One's remains unconfirmed, so even if this is genuine, there's still nothing concrete to report. Will Microsoft launch their next-gen console ahead of PS4? We'll have to wait for an official announcement to be sure...
