Nvidia and Ubisoft have today announced a partnership that'll see the two companies working together to ensure that the PC games released by the latter look as good as possible on the PC platform (provided you have a Nvidia graphics card, of course).

Examples of how the deal will improve Ubisoft's games are as follows: "TXAA antialiasing, which provides Hollywood-levels of smooth animation, soft shadows, HBAO+ (horizon-based ambient occlusion) and advanced DX11 tessellation."

"The PC remains one of the world's most popular gaming platforms, and we're committed to offering PC players the best possible experience with our games," said Ubisoft's Geoffroy Sardin. "Combining NVIDIA's visual computing expertise and the creativity of our development teams will give customers a stunning experience when choosing an Ubisoft game for the PC."

Games such as Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Watch Dogs were all mentioned in the press release, all of which are heading to PC before the end of the year.
