The PlayStation Vita has unquestionably been one of the starts of Tokyo Game Show this year, and a lot of promising games have been shown for the format. Besides the games details about the hardware has also surfaced, one of them being the pricing of the proprietary memory cards.

VG247 is reporting that the 4Gb model will be priced at 2,200yen (approximately $29), the 8GB model 3,200yen ($42), the 16Gb model 5,500yen ($72) and the 32Gb model 9,500yen ($124) which all seem like pretty hefty prices to us.

It is expected that cheaper brands will find it's way to the market and thereby also affect the price of Sony's own memory cards, but this does make us curious as to how the games themselves will be priced.
