With Gamescom just around the corner, we're preparing for an onslaught of announcements and revelations. Today's Daily Highlights represents the quiet before the storm.

First up, Payday 2 snuck in and snatched top spot in this week's sales charts, knocking Minecraft from pole position.

The Humble Origin Bundle is the best selling collection from the company so far. When you check out the line-up you'll see why...

The 3DS Castlevania title, Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, is getting a HD port and is making its way over to PS3 and Xbox 360 as a downloadable title.

By the sounds of it, Call of Duty: Ghosts is going to look best on PC, not on next-gen consoles.

One game not making the leap to next-gen consoles is Batman: Arkham Origins, but there is an announcement expected this week regarding other elements of the game.

Capcom has confirmed that there's no plans to bring Street Fighter to Wii U, 2K Marin reckons that The Bureau: Xcom Declassified was announced too early, it looks like The Sims 4 details and screens have been leaked, and is the next game from Lionhead Studios going to be called Fable Legends?
