Danish Limbo developers Playdead have revealed to Edge that their next game is going to be a while. The indie developer made it big with Limbo last summer on Xbox Live Arcade (subsequently released this summer on Steam and PSN), but according to CEO Dino Patti their next game will take at least 3.5 years to finish.

"A good game takes time. I think the new production will take at least three and a half years." Patti tells Edge.

Given that Playdead finished Limbo last summer we are hopefully only 2.5 years away from their next game, but that remains to be seen. Playdead also confirmed that they are using Unity for their next game.
