Sony have confirmed there will be a Gamescom press conference this year as usual. While Nintendo and Microsoft typically don't host large press events in Cologne, Sony have done so every year. You can probably expect more European PS4 launch details, perhaps one or two new announcements and more as we're only three or so months out from the PS4 launch.
The press conference will take place at Staatenhaus am Rheinpark next to the Convention Center (same location as last year), and will start at 6:00pm (BST). Gamereactor will be there.
