Another day in the books and here are the highlights in no particular order:

Eidos Montreal boss Stephane D'Astous resigned citing irreconcilable differences with Square Enix leadership, and EA top executive Frank Gibeau says they're well prepared for the upcoming transition.

Virtual Reality is all the rage in the industry, and Oculus Rift have teamed up with IndieCade for a three-week competition called VR Jam - we're sure it will spawn some interesting new VR concepts. Veteran studio Firaxis will show their next game at Gamescom next month.

There was a lot going up on GRTV today - Digital Extremes' Sheldon Carter talked about Warframe, Novarama's Daniel Sánchez-Crespo detailed two Invizimal titles, Capcom's Laili Bosma described Lost Planet 3, and finally multiplayer game director Damien Kieken gave us the lowdown on Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag's multiplayer.
