In talking with Allthingsd Chair Entertainment's Laura Mustard revealed that Infinity Blade II that went free for a week to celebrate AppStore's fifth anniversary was downloaded 1.7 million times in the first day of the promotion. In total 5.7 million new players were added in a week.
