The official Playstation Blog has announced that Eat Sleep Play's Twisted Metal has been hit with a delay and won't be out in October of this year as previously thought. David Jaffe broke the news in the blog post:
"We're not shipping Twisted Metal October 4th, 2011. We're going to miss our date. We're going to be late."
Eat Sleep Play are happy to premiere a new level "Thrills & Spills Amusement Park" at PAX Prime and Gamescom, but perhaps that's little comfort if you were hoping to play Twisted Metal this fall.
Twisted Metal is now slotted in for release early next year.
