Last week we reported that Valve wouldn't be making any more Steam controllers after the recent sale, discontinuing them once and for all, but it turns out they actually took too many orders of the now-defunct controller.
One user took to Reddit to share a message they'd received saying they'd accidentally taken on too many orders, and that they'd been refunded as a result. This was similar to reports on ResetEra, as many are claiming they're getting their orders cancelled.
It's unclear which orders in particular are being canceled, but if you've ordered one it's worth checking if it's still valid.
