Activision's Hero-games are once again in the center of a judicial battle. This time it's Adam Levine, singer in Maroon 5, that isn't happy about the way he's portrayed in Band Hero. Levine agreed to lend his likeness and voice to the game, but wasn't aware of the fact that the player would be able to use his virtual self while performing other bands' songs - using someone else's voice.
This is not the first time Activision have been sued for these reasons, as No Doubt and Courtney Love (on behalf of her late husband, Kurt Kobain) have sued them for the same thing. Axl Rose from Guns 'n Roses and 80s band The Romantics have also sued Activision because of the Hero-games, but for other reasons.
