With Blizzcon coming up in October, it's about time we start to speculate what the next World of Warcraft-expansion is going to be. So how about digging up the old Pandaren-rumour? MMO-Champion reports that Blizzard have filed for a copyright for the title "Mists of Pandaria" (which can be seen here), kicking off speculations that the next expansion will take place in the Panda-themed land of Pandaria.
The Pandaren is a race of sentient Pandas, which initially was created as an April's Fool but that became quite popular amongst Warcraft-fans.
The copyright filing identifies Mists of Pandaria as a "computer game software," which gives even more fuel to the fire. So what about you? Do you think this is the next expansion? Is it actually for the World of Warcraft trading card game? Is Mists of Pandaria actually the name of the mysterious non-hardcore MMO Titan that Blizzard are working on? Are they simply trolling us?
We'll probably find out at Blizzcon, if not earlier. Until then, let's speculate because it's fun to speculate.
