Piranha Games has announced that their online shooter, Mechwarrior Online, has been given an official launch date of September 17. This is when the game will reach version 1.0, and seeing as there's now over 1.1 million registered users, there'll be plenty of people looking forward to getting there hands on the update. The game is currently in open beta, and you can sign up for the free-to-play shooter right here.
