Painkiller: Hell & Damnation, the first-person shooter from Farm 51 and Nordic Games, is now available to console owners after landing on PS3 and Xbox 360 (both versions will cost £24.99).

Originally a PC release, the game is remake of Painkiller and Battle Out of Hell, will feature 14 levels of single player story, a co-op campaign, PvP and PvE modes. Both console versions will each get an exclusive map too.

"We know console users have been waiting for this day and we're excited to be getting Painkiller out there to them," said Nordic Games' Reinhard Pollice.

"The console community deserved the quality that matched the polished PC version," he continued. "So we have been working hard alongside The Farm 51 to do this. The PC version has been a huge success and we're delighted that the demonic gameplay can now be experienced by even more people, and with controllers."
