You might be used to using Facebook, but from now on you'll need to get used to using FACEBOOK, as that's what the social media giant has rebranded to, as revealed just yesterday.
This comes with a new logo, as you can see below, and the app itself will keep its own branding.
"The new branding was designed for clarity, and uses custom typography and capitalization to create visual distinction between the company and app," chief marketing officer Antonio Lucio said.
The services under the FACEBOOK umbrella include the app itself, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal, and Calibra, and in June the company began integrating "from Facebook" within all of their products. Over the coming weeks, the new brand will be used in marketing materials and products as well, including a new site for the company.
"This brand change is a way to better communicate our ownership structure to the people and businesses who use our services to connect, share, build community and grow their audiences," Lucio adds.
