Disney bought Marvel Comics two years ago, and they have decided that any game based on the Marvel license will be handled by Disney Interactive. And to head up that initiative is no other than Bill Roper, Massively reports.

Roper has been in the games industry for almost 20 years and he's known for his work at Blizzard North (who did Diablo and Diablo II), the creation of Flagship Studios (Hellgate London, Mythos) and his work as Chief Creative Officer at Cryptic Studios (City of Heroes, Champions Online). And now he's been named vice president in charge of the Marvel franchise.
