The biggest news of the day actually hit last night, when Microsoft announced a u-turn over their controversial policies regarding always-on connectivity and DRM.

The knock-on effect of this move means we're unlikely to see family sharing on Xbox One now, though we doubt many people will mind the trade-off.

EA has confirmed their scrapped online pass scheme remains scrapped in the wake of Microsoft's change of heart.

Former Epic dev Cliff Bleszinski has suggested that the reversal from MS is purely down to Sony's decision to keep DRM much as it is today. We pretty much agree with him.

There's a new episode of Trailershow in town, aiming to satisfy all your trailer related needs with the latest from The Last of Us, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

And a series of E3 interviews, all of which are worth a watch, landed on the site today. We talk to Ready at Dawn about the PS4 exclusive, The Order: 1886. Bengt Lemne discusses Playstation streaming with Sony's Jim Ryan. Gillen McAllister talks Tom Clancy with Massive and in the process finds out more about the recently announced open-world adventure from Ubisoft, The Division.

No personal bias here (honest), but we've saved the best till last, as we catch up with Bungie and get the lowdown on their open-world shooter, Destiny.
